I live in the suburbs of NYC. I have been a NICU ( neonatal) RN for the past 30 yrs. I also teach Lamaze, am a Birth Doula and Reiki Master. I have a great husband of 29 yrs, 3 grown kids and spoiled dog. My first and most addictive hobby is reading and I can still remember the joy of getting my first library card when I was old enough to write my own name!! I also love scrapbooking, jewelry making, photography, walking and starting new and interesting projects. I love to create!! While I do these things I enjoy listening to books on my IPOD. I belong to a monthly book group that is wonderful. When I am not reading books to update my medical knowledge for work my #1 book preference is mysteries, but I read a wide variety of books. I dislike Romance novels, Horror & Sci-Fi. I am not sure how long I have been a member of PBS- at least 18mths or more but it feels like forever. I LOVE IT!!!It's an amazing service and I sing it's praises to everyone I know that is a reader!
